Orthopaedic & Spine Institute at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota

Our orthopaedics team is comprised of some of the area’s most dedicated and respected physicians and clinical staff, who specialize in orthopaedics, neurosurgery and spinal surgery. Our physicians are joined by a professional team of experienced nursing professionals, rehabilitative therapists, pain experts, dietitians and related health care professionals to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to your treatment.

The TLC Program

Transport, Lodging & Comfort can all begin the day before surgery.

The Orthopaedic & Spine Institute is pleased to offer an exclusive package for patients who may be concerned about the early morning drive to Doctors Hospital on the day of surgery. The TLC program offers concierge services in our hotel-like environment for you, and if desired, one caregiver. A fee of $115 includes the following:

Private patient room the evening before surgery

Dinner in the Concierge Dining Room the evening before surgery from an enhanced menu.
Personal computer and internet access.
Popcorn and a movie with in-room DVD/VCR.
Cappuccino, espresso or hot chocolate and pastry in the “Java Joint” located in the private dining room.

We will work with your physician to make these very special arrangements for you.

Private Rooms and Suites

As our guest, you will recuperate in your very own private suite. Your accommodations will include an enhanced menu, a newspaper is delivered to you daily, personal computer and internet access, telephone, DVD/VCR equipment and a video library to choose from (or bring your favorites from home), and other design-enhanced suite appointments. (Many rooms also feature a sofa bed for family members.)

Concierge Services

Concierge service is provided seven days a week. The Concierge will call you periodically throughout the day to help address your needs and ensure your comfort. The Concierge is here to assist you in making your stay with us more pleasant than you ever imagined a hospital stay could be.

Dining Room

You will enjoy deliciously prepared meals from our gourmet menu in a private dining room located within the clinical unit. You may join other guests for your meal, light refreshments, or a game of cards to pass the time. This beautiful dining room has an upscale interior with hardwood floors and relaxing music.

Gourmet Coffee And Fresh Baked Sweets

Enjoy delicious gourmet coffee, flavored teas, and tasty treats whenever you desire. Just stop in at the “Java Joint” that is located next door to the private dining room, and treat yourself to a cappuccino, espresso, or hot chocolate and pastry. Or, the Concierge can have something brought to your room.
